Sign UpFor Kate, it’s a return to the marathon distance after previously raising funds for Chances Changing Lives. For Pip, it’s her very first time stepping into the world of running, and she hasn’t even run a 5k (yet!).
Together, they’re setting out on a journey filled with nerves, determination, and purpose — all to raise vital funds for a cause close to so many hearts.
The Christie Charity is a beacon of care and research, supporting one of the largest cancer centres in Europe. The work they do changes lives, from pioneering treatments to supporting families during their toughest moments.
Both Kate and Pip have been inspired by the stories of patients and families who’ve relied on The Christie. Now, they’re running to give something back.
Kate is no stranger to a challenge. She completed her first marathon in 2024 and knows just how much mental and physical strength it takes to go the distance.
Pip, on the other hand, is starting from zero – not a runner (yet), but ready to take on every mile. From her first 1k jog to training for 26.2 miles, this is as much about pushing personal limits as it is about fundraising.
Their journeys may look different, but their goal is the same: raise as much money as possible for The Christie and make every mile count.
Running a marathon is never easy, but knowing people are behind you makes all the difference.

We’ll be sharing their ups, downs, and progress over the coming months on our Instagram and Facebook pages; from early morning runs to post-training coffees. Keep an eye out and cheer them on! They have also started their own account where they’ll be posting regular updates.
“Knowing you’re helping others makes it worth every step. We’re nervous, excited, and incredibly grateful for the support. We can’t wait to smash it!”
At The Nantwich Clinic, we’re so proud of Kate and Pip – not just for what they’re doing, but for why they’re doing it. They’re a brilliant reminder that it’s not about being the fastest or the fittest; it’s about showing up and doing something that matters.
Thank you for supporting them and The Christie Charity.
