Having Got the Blister

Well, it was painful, every step that I walked.

It’s recommended that we don’t burst blisters as this leaves them open to infection. It’s possible to buy some fantastic plasters now which can cushion a blister, however, these are not necessarily needed. There are plenty of things that can be used to place under plaster or piece of tape to cushion something that is causing pain.

What should we do if the blister pops by itself? the answer is to cover it to keep the area free of infection.

It’s only a week later and I am now blister-free and although I have not worn the boots for more than a couple of hours at one time, I can say they have been much more comfortable!
