How can our Cheshire  Counselling service help?

As a registered nurse with over 32 years of experience in different fields of healthcare (including palliative care, occupational health and hospice care), our counseller has dedicated a lot of time to caring for others. they are also a registered counsellor with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) with a master’s degree in counselling and psychotherapy.

By combining this experience with healthcare with their experience in counselling and psychotherapy, our therapist has a passion for helping others to cope with and manage their emotions.

Listening to how you feel without judgement and responding to your feelings with empathy, councelling in cheshire can help to empower you to not only make a good decision for you, but to make the decision that is right for you. The thing that makes our counselling therapy different though is that we won’t offer advice or solve your problems for you, we will simply facilitate a process that gives you the clarity that you as an individual needs to make these decisions for yourself.

Embracing good mental wellbeing helps  with all of the work we do.

How do Counselling sessions work?

All Counselling sessions in Cheshire are carried out in a safe and confidential space within The Nantwich Clinic. Each session is a dedicated therapeutic hour on a regular day and time, but with no limit to a minimum or maximum number of sessions. If either you or the counseller feel that counselling is no longer assisting you, then the sessions can be stopped at any time.

If you would prefer a longer interval between sessions then, providing there is availability for sessions, there can be some degree of flexibility.

All of our work is carried out within the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy’s (BACP) ethical framework and professional boundaries, and is fully compliant with all UK GDPR regulations. Records are stored securely within a locked and secure filing cabinet and are retained for a period of 6 years from the date that any individual no longer requires therapy.
